Anne Muhme, Paralegal



Anne was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She began her college education at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. She studied architecture for one year before moving to Boulder, Colorado. Anne received her Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She received her Masters of Planning and Community Development from the University of Colorado, Denver. She received her Paralegal Certificate from the Centers For Legal Studies in 2012.


Anne moved to Steamboat in 1987 to work as a staff planner for the Steamboat Springs Planning Department. She worked her way up to become the Director of Planning Services in 1992 through 1996.

In 1997 Anne began working for the Steamboat Springs School District as the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent/Human Resources Manager in 1997. Anne became the Director of Human Resources in 2005.

Anne decided to pursue her next challenge as a paralegal for Steamboat Lawyers Group in 2012


Anne received her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification in 2004 from the Human Resources Certification Institute. Anne received her American Institute of Certified Planners certification in the early 1980's. Anne is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management; Colorado Human Resources Association; American Association of School Personal Administrators; Chairperson of Routt Schools Federal Credit Union and Treasurer of Steamboat Springs Pregnancy Resource Center.


Anne enjoys snowshoeing, hiking, boating and camping. However, her favorite pastime is spending time with her four grandchildren.
